1.Definition:
Coolant is a continuous-flow liquid that circulates throughout the engine to absorb heat and carry it to the radiator, where the liquid will be cooled before returning to the engine. In its most basic role, coolant is used with internal combustion engines or any fuel-burning engines to generate energy.
2.Status:
Liquid, colored in green and pink.
3.Ingredients:
– Water, glycol, and additives.
– Water: a natural component, a liquid that efficiently exchanges heat. However, water has a high freezing point and a low boiling point, so water alone cannot effectively cool the engine. The interior temperature quickly reaches the boiling and vaporization point of water.
– Glycol: commonly referred to as antifreeze (ethylene or propylene glycol) added to water to lower the freezing point and increase the boiling point of the mixture. Adding glycol to water helps the mixture efficiently fulfill its cooling task.
– Additives: added to prevent corrosion in the radiator, water pump system, and any other cooling systems involved in this process.
4.Utilities:
NP COOLANT enhances the heat transfer from the engine to the cooling system, facilitating faster engine cooling. It prevents rust and corrosion in the cooling system. This solution is compatible with all components made of rubber, metal, and antifreeze solutions. It is especially recommended for air-cooled cooling systems.
5.Applications:
Cooling and protecting motorcycle engines, cars, and heavy-duty diesel engines.
6.Safety Instruction:
– Avoid frequent skin contact with motor oil.
– Do not pour used motor oil into drainage channels.
7.Storage:
Store under a roof, in a dry, well-ventilated place, and at a temperature below 60°C.
