NPoil Vietnam starts construction of second lubricant factory in Tay Ninh

On November 21, 2025 (October 2, At Ty year), NPoil Vietnam Joint Stock Company held the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of NPoil Vietnam Factory at Duc Hoa Dong Industrial Park, My Hanh Commune, Tay Ninh Province. The project is considered an important step in the strategy to improve production capacity and build the Vietnamese lubricant brand in the domestic and international markets.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of Tay Ninh province’s leaders, departments, branches, partners, distributors, contractors, land fund support units, along with a large number of guests and NPoil staff. Representatives of the company’s leadership said that the new factory project is an important milestone in the journey of transforming from a model that is mainly manufacturing – distributing – supplying lubricant solutions to the role of a manufacturer with a larger scale, higher standards and a clearer international orientation.

NPoil leaders expressed their gratitude to the local authorities, functional agencies and partners who have accompanied the enterprise in the process of preparing the project. The presence of delegates and guests is considered by NPoil as an important source of encouragement for the enterprise to persevere with its long-term development vision in the field of lubricants and petrochemicals.

According to information from NPoil, the factory in Tay Ninh is oriented to become one of the most modern and automated lubricant production facilities in Vietnam, with the goal of approaching and achieving international standards within the next 3-5 years. The enterprise sees this not only as an infrastructure investment, but also as a strategic project, laying the foundation for a new growth phase.

The project is designed with a mixing and packaging system that is approximately 80% automated, allowing for increased accuracy at each stage, strict quality control, minimizing subjective factors in operations, and ensuring product consistency between production batches. The factory’s target capacity is oriented at 1,200–1,500 tons of products per month, capable of meeting the rapidly growing demand of the domestic market, while creating room for expansion plans and OEM/ODM cooperation in the future.

The entire production process at the factory will be standardized according to international standards on safety, environment and quality. The warehouse system, logistics and operating area are planned synchronously and scientifically to optimize the flow of raw materials and finished products, thereby shortening the time of goods circulation and better serving both domestic and export markets.

Regarding input materials, NPoil said it will use base oils and additives imported directly from highly regarded markets in the lubricant industry such as the US, Europe, Dubai, Australia, India and a number of countries with developed industries. Selecting sources from these regions is to ensure stability, consistency and meet strict technical standards, while creating a foundation to gradually improve the quality of products under the NPoil Vietnam brand.

When the factory is operational, NPoil Vietnam will be more proactive in production and quality control, from formula, process to output standards. The company representative said the goal is that each product delivered to customers will be highly reliable and stable, meeting operating requirements in many different conditions.

In addition, the new factory is expected to help NPoil optimize costs, reduce product prices and improve the supply chain. Shortening production and delivery times, combined with effective inventory management, is expected to contribute to improving the competitiveness of businesses in the market, especially in the context of the lubricant industry with strong participation of international brands.

Based on the new production capacity, NPoil aims to focus on developing strategic product lines for many different segments, including lubricants for cars, motorbikes, industrial lubricants, marine lubricants, and lubrication solutions suitable for the development trend of electric vehicles and new generation transmission systems. These are considered to be potential market segments but also have high requirements for quality, stability and the ability to meet technical standards.

In terms of socio-economics, the NPoil factory project in Tay Ninh is expected to create more stable jobs for local workers, contribute to the province’s budget revenue, and promote the development of service and supporting industries in the Duc Hoa Dong Industrial Cluster and neighboring areas.

From a market perspective, in the period 2026-2030, NPoil aims to expand its export activities to Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The company expects that owning a highly automated production plant that complies with international standards will be an important advantage for the NPoil Vietnam lubricant brand to gradually approach and compete in these markets.

NPoil leaders commented that this factory project is a step that clearly shows the long-term strategic orientation: building a Vietnamese lubricant brand with a solid technical and quality foundation, with enough competitiveness, not just based on the advantages of a distribution system or simple trade.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, NPoil committed to implementing the project on schedule, in accordance with the design and ensuring quality according to the approved documents. The company affirmed that fire prevention and fighting safety, labor safety and environmental protection are mandatory criteria, prioritized throughout the implementation process.

The company also said it will closely coordinate with relevant agencies, local authorities and contractors to ensure the project is implemented synchronously, in compliance with legal regulations, ensuring security and order and minimizing negative impacts on the surrounding community. The goal is to put the factory into operation as soon as possible, promptly meeting growing market demand and taking advantage of development opportunities of the lubricant industry in the new period.

The groundbreaking ceremony of the NPoil Vietnam Factory in Tay Ninh is therefore seen not only as the beginning of an industrial project, but also as a sign of a new development phase of the enterprise, in a more systematic, professional and long-term direction in the strategy of building the Vietnamese lubricant brand on the regional map.
